As clichéd as it sounds, all great works of art start with a good foundation – and your make-up should be no exception. KRYOLAN carries everything you need to have your work of make-up art looking its best – from underbases and concealers that prepare the skin, to flawless but natural looking foundations. Top everything off with finishing powder or setting spray to make sure everything stays looking its best.
Concealers, neutralizers, and camouflage covers are designed to reduce or hide areas of skin discoloration, such as dark eye bags, heightened redness, or in more extreme cases, tattoos, scars, and birthmarks.
Concealers and camouflage covers are generally available in similar color sets to foundations, the difference being that concealers are much more highly pigmented and meant to be used on “trouble spots” only. Foundation (or sometimes dry powder) is applied over top to give the skin an overall even look.
Neutralizers generally come in pastel shades of mint, lilac, etc. They make use of color-theory to ‘neutralize’ and even out overall skin tones. For instance to neutralize excessive redness you would make use of a mint colored neutralizer (since red and green are opposites on the color wheel and therefore cancel each other out). Neutralizers can be applied to trouble spots much as concealer is, with foundation then applied overtop, or small amounts of liquid neutralizer can be mixed into liquid foundation to create a custom mix.
