We are a Kryolan Authorized Retailer for United States

KRYOLAN is a specialized manufacturer of professional make-up, serving theater, film, and television around the globe for more than 50 years. KRYOLAN provides a range of more than 14,000 items, which covers every need any professional make-up artist may have, including fashion, theatrical, and character make-up; face body paint; and special effects make-up and lab supplies.

Regardless of whether your aim is fashion, bridal, or everyday make-up, KRYOLAN offers top quality products in a full range of colors. Professionals are impressed by the astonishing diversity of KRYOLAN preparations and color shades, and by their wonderful contributions to creative, artistic work.

As clichéd as it sounds, all great works of art start with a good foundation – and your make-up should be no exception. KRYOLAN carries everything you need to have your work of make-up art looking its best – from underbases and concealers that prepare the skin, to flawless but natural looking foundations. Top everything off with finishing powder or setting spray to make sure everything stays looking its best.

Powder is one of the basic tools of a makeup designer: any cream foundation that does not dry sufficiently by itself must be rendered matte and smudge-proof before makeup work is finished. You can go with a translucent powder or choose pigmented powder to augment the foundation shade (for instance a light dusting of a bronzing powder can give the skin a healthy glow).
Powder is typically applied with either a puff or a brush. Puff method: Apply a small amount of powder to the puff then fold the puff in half and rub the fibres together gently to evenly distribute the powder. Open the puff and shake gently to remove excess powder. Then press the puff gently onto the surface of the make-up (do not rub). Brush off excess powder with a large, soft powder brush. Brush method: Load a small amount of powder onto the brush then tap the brush gently to remove excess powder. Dust powder lightly onto the surface of the make-up (especially on the cheekbones, nose tip, and forehead) then brush away excess with a large, soft powder brush using long, downward strokes.

TIPS: - Use powder very sparingly on clients with dry skin. Too much powder will merely accentuate the dryness.
- Applying excess loose powder under the eyes can help catch falling bits of eye shadow and mascara. This excess can easily be brushed away at the end of the application resulting in a cleaner look.
- A tiny amount of foundation, followed by loose powder on the eyelids helps ensure that eye shadow goes on more evenly and blends more easily.
